Change Your Beliefs, Change Your World

January 30, 2012

We get energy from what we eat,

from what we breathe, from our environment.

Our actions require energy,

our thoughts require energy, our emotions

require energy and our bodies require energy.

Energy has different frequencies and

energy has different colours.

There is energy inside of us and there is energy outside of us.

Let's start with the energy inside us

In particular the energy of thought, action, and emotion.

There are two categories of energy inside of us that impact our results in life

Conscious which is energy we are aware of and

Sub conscious which is Energy we are not aware of

4% of our energy is conscious

96% of our energy is subconscious

How do actions, thoughts and emotions become subconscious?

With repetition after a certain number of repetitions an action, a thought and an emotion will become a habit after awhile habits will become automatic

Responses.  When they are automatic responses.

They go below our conscious awareness.

This frees up space for us to process other information.

What if I don't like my automatic response/habit?

Clarify what thought, action and or emotion you desire

Think it do it and or feel it many times in a day as possible for as many days as it takes to be a habit

Repeat the habit until you think it do it or feel it automatically

What if that is just not working?

Then the habit/auto responder is attached to a belief.

So , what's a belief?

A belief is an internalized statement with and emotion and evidence of it's truth attached

These statements form the framework for our identity.

When we are looking to change our experience of the world, we must follow  energy to find our subconscious beliefs . Once found we can affirm or replace them based on what fits for us now.  Behaviour is much easier to change when it is not supported by an unconscious and perhaps outdated belief.

5 Steps to better Family Relationships

January 26, 2012

My sister and I had not spoken for ten years. My mother had been rushed to the hospital with a ruptured appendix and I was on a plane winging my way to her side and into the city that my sister now resided in. I couldn't possibly avoid seeing her. She is a nurse.

She would definitely be involved with my mother's care.  My mind wandered to the possible scenarios for our first meeting. Would we fall into each other's arms and forgive all in the shadow of my mothers serious condition or would I ...
